Appetizers
Stuffed Mushrooms
2- pounds medium (about 1 inch apart) mushrooms
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
Wash and remove stem of mushrooms and chop into little pieces in bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Turn the mushrooms upside down and fill the bottom with the mushroom mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
Vegetable Dip
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. Bon Apetit
2 tsp. chopped green onion.
Mix all together. Serve with vegetables and dip in. May be made several days to a week ahead and keeps well in the refrigerator.
Creamy Spinich Dip
1 - 10 oz. package frozen chopped spinich, thawed, well-drained
1 cup salad dressing (can use regular or light)
1 cup sour cream (can use regular or light)
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup green onion slices
1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
1 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
Optional - add 2 TBSP. finely diced sweet onion
Combine ingredients and mix well. Chill. Serve with assorted dippers. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
